Helpings are huge. Very pleasant staff. Would love to see them open for dinner hour.

I love to stop by this restaurant for my breakfast. They have some amazing dishes for healthy breakfast.

They need to seriously redo the inside decor very old and outdated. Food is expensive considering it is nothing special. However with that said it is the Galtview and part Cambridge landscape, great location for local offices and the hospital.

I had an awesome breakfast here on the weekend. The serving sizes were very large. I got the "Meat Only Platter" which was perfect and my fiance got the Lumberjack which was huge! There was far more food than we could finish. The pancakes we amazing and really big. And our waitress was awesome!

Nice place to go for a meal. One of Cambridge's hidden gems!

I was glad the Tim's at CMH was closed or I would have never had the opportunity to enjoy this restaurant. The food was very tasty, and not artificial and from a manufacturer. I had the lunch special and it was a perfect amount of food and an impressive price. My waitress was very. Professional and polite. The staff seemed happy to be there. I will definitely be going back.

My husband and I went in today for the breakfast!The toast was burnt on both our plates And we were not asked once if we needed anything else or would like more coffee!The service was horrible!It wasn’t even busy so no excuse of the waitress not to ask for refills on coffeee etc

Took my father here for breakfast. I have been here before for dinner and the portions and price were very very good.Highly recommend the spinach dip.Also can't beat 5 dollar breakfast for a senior. He also had a slice of coconut pie, yum. He was very happy and that made me happy.

Just moved to Cambridge from Mississauga and went looking for our new breakfast spot. Didnt know what to expect when we walked into Galt View Restaurant, but needless to say we have found our new Breakfast spot. Amazing prices and good portion sizes (Mine and looking at the others in the restaurant). I had the sizzler and it was awesome, my wife had the 2 egg breakfast special and it was also very good. Love their potatoes! Can't wait to go back for lunch or dinner :)

This place is just awesome. I have been going here regularly for almost 20 years. They have a very inexpensive breakfast deal that can't be beat. This could be anyone's go to restaurant for any occasion, and any meal of the day.

Went in for breakfast. Food was mediocre, eggs over cooked and bacon under cooked. Good portion and good pricing. Service was friendly and swift. I thought it was rude when the waitress gave me the bill while I wasn't even halfway done my meal. The restaurant was not busy so I felt kinda rushed for no reason.

My family and I regularly eat breakfast here. Always fast and friendly service. Food is always good quality.

Very nice restaurant, friendly staff, excellent good, good prices. E had the basic breakfast, served as day, it is only$4.99 before 10 am and $5.99 regular. Eggs were perfect accompanied by 2 large pieces of ham and a huge portion of potatoes that were golden b brown perfection.We happened to go at rush hour after church services on Sunday which flooded the place with patrons. The staff handles it very well, were apologetic for the wait which was not a problem for us. It was Sunday after all. The coffee cup was kept filled with unexpectedly good coffee. The food arrived piping hot and delicious. Good good, great service and reasonable prices. You can't go wrong.

Good food for the low price. Way better than ordering pizza. Got the cheese tortellini and it was very filling. Cost 10.99.

Food is great, service is exceptional. Ashley, Tammy, Jenna and Rose will make you feel welcome. Bottomless coffee and tea are always hot. Booths and chairs are all comfortable and well spaced so you can enjoy the company of your group without feeling like you're part of someone else's conversation .You won't be disappointed!

It was very nice. Good $$ for breakfast and sweet amount too. A lot light and big windows. Staff was great!! Next time i got i want a both. Please!!!

Breakfast was served within 5 minutes of sitting down... Drawback to that other then the eggs is it tasted like it had been sitting under a heating lamp... Sausage dry, french toast very dry barely dipped in egg. Pancakes and eggs were good. Portion size was good for price but I won't visit again.

The food and service at the Galt View is excellent! Can't beat $5.99 for a full, tasty breakfast. The omelettes are really good too. Great menu selection. Have never been disappointed with my meal whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner. Always leave happy and full!

This is hands down one of the best breakfast places in Cambridge. The food is always delicious and the portions are generous while still being well priced. Two people can easily eat for 20$ or less.The service is always friendly and fast and while I'll admit there were a rough couple of years with ownership change and the like whoever is running things now is doing a great job. The menu is on the small side but they do everything on it (lunch included) well. Excellent, local restaurant, would definitely recommend.

Really enjoyed brunch with my 1 year old. Everyone was very sweet and friendly, they provided me with options for my son; either a booster seat or a highchair. Then when I asked to swamp them out, they were glad to help! We shared a Lumber Jack meal and had fruit salad. The food was absolutely delicious, both of us agree! Going out just us two can be a struggle, especially when I am 5 months pregnant and always tired!! Everyone was understanding and engaged my son making my job so much easier and letting me get a few bites in between. 😊😁 Very happy mama with the experience we recieved, we will definitely be dining in again!

Has become a favourite spot for my grandson and I. Food is always well prepared, servers are extremely attentive, feel at home. Would recommend to anyone headed to Cambridge.
